We’re passionate about giving back through a variety of cause marketing events that make a real difference in our community. These events are all about using our platforms to support those who need it most in the greater Madison area.
American Family Children’s Hospital Radiothon
Each year, all eight of our radio stations promote and participate in this 36-hour radiothon to raise money for AFCH patients, families, and child life services. The money raised during this radiothon helps support programs at the hospital, such as music therapy, the Positive Image Center, pain and palliative care, and more.
Over the past 10 years, we have raised over $6.6 million for the American Family Children’s Hospital!
Kibble 4 A Cause
A day full of fundraising and furry friends, Kibble 4 A Cause helps support local animal rescues and shelters, such as the Dane County Humane Society, Czar’s Promise, Underdog Pet Rescue, and more. Four of our radio stations come together for a live, all-day broadcast to collect donations and encourage listeners to bid on auction items. All proceeds and donations help pets in need in the Madison area.
Veteran’s Radiothon
General Manager Randy Hawke takes the lead on this 28-hour radiothon, collecting donations for Veteran charities in the Madison area. Listeners are encouraged to make donations in person or online, or bid on amazing auction items to raise money for groups like the Madison VA Hospital, Vet Center, Badger Honor Flight, and more.
Storyteller’s Jam
Twice a year, we draw over 1,000 country fans to Monona Terrace for a live, acoustic concert featuring the hottest rising country stars. The lineup for this intimate concert is kept secret until the show starts! The best part? All proceeds go to the American Family Children’s Hospital, benefiting patients, families, and child life programs.
Fusion’s Gifts of Christmas
This isn’t your average toy drive, it’s a community celebration! Every year, DJ Fusion of 93.1 Jamz partners with local businesses such as The River Food Pantry and Back 2 Basics to transform The Sylvee into a Christmas Village. Through community support, volunteers, and donations, Fusion’s Gifts of Christmas provides gifts to 3,200+ families and children in the Madison area.
