Through entertainment, cultural programming, and local partnerships, we’re dedicated to creating meaningful connections and unforgettable experiences for our community.
Hispanic Heritage Month
Each year, we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month locally on La Movida with special programming features airing about Hispanic Heritage and a luncheon at Monona Terrace. The La Movida team honors the histories, cultures, and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America all month long.
American Family Golf Championship
This is more than just a golf tournament. We partner with American Family Insurance to build excitement and get sponsors for this annual event. Attendees can enjoy golf, a live concert, and a 5k run/walk, with all proceeds from the tournament benefiting the American Family Children’s Hospital and other charities in south central Wisconsin.
Dane County Fair
For 23 years, La Movida has brought the biggest crowds of the week to the Dane County Fair! With lively music, exciting contests, and family-friendly activities, it’s an experience everyone can enjoy. The La Movida team is proud to celebrate and share Hispanic culture at the fair, and they’re committed to their ongoing partnership with Dane County to create a fun and vibrant atmosphere for all fairgoers.
