If we all work together, our world and society can be a better place for everyone.
Co-Founder of La Movida Radio, On-Air Personality, Marketing Consultant
We moved to Wisconsin in 1999 from Veracruz, Mexico. Luis and I started a Spanish weekend radio show at a rural station in Poynette. This weekend radio show has grown into the first, and only, Spanish radio station in southern Wisconsin, La Movida. Today, we broadcast on 1480 AM and 94.5 FM. I am proud to be recognized as the Station of the Year for the large market by the Wisconsin Broadcasters' Association in 2015, 2017, and 2018. We also founded Voz Latina Newspaper, a bi-weekly Spanish publication in 2002. But my greatest joy is being a wife to Luis and mother to our two boys, Luis Angel 21, and Manuel 15.Â
I enjoy serving as a philanthropist, a voice, and a leader in the Hispanic Community and work to raise funds for local organizations such as the Catholic Multicultural Center, Safe Communities Coalition, Second Harvest Food Bank, and Madison College, to name a few.
If you are interested in reaching the Hispanic community with information, news, or events you’ve come to the right place!
