Sponsor A Cause And Grow Your Business
We can help your business strategically give to a great cause and create a win-win strategy. Here are some of our top events:

Nothing Average about this Golf Outing
Joe and Ebo, Mid-West Family Madison’s version of the Dynamic Duo host a number of community events, but none as heartfelt as the Average Joe’s golf outing to benefit Badger Honor Flight.
Now in its third year, the golf outing continues to be a sellout. 2019 had 144 golfers, and sponsors for everything from lunch to hole-side fun and games.
Every flight costs over $110,000. The veterans pay nothing for their flight because of how much they have sacrificed already.
The flight, all other transportation, a jacket, a hat, and a t-shirt, plus all the meals are all covered through donations and fundraising efforts.
Q-munity Involvement—It’s in Our Blood
Would you pay $100 to attend a concert if you didn’t know who was playing? We didn’t think anyone would either but 17 years ago when we launched Today’s Q106 Storytellers Jam we proved ourselves wrong so many times we started offering two shows a year that sell out within 24-hours.
This ultimate concert experience brings in artists you’ve loved for years with up-and-comers in a small intimate setting.
Listeners learn who’s coming when they show up with their ticket. The artists take turns telling the stories behind their songs, singing, and playing. And when the “stars” align, they play together for a song or two.
It’s about the music, the musician, and the story—and this story includes raising more than $10,000 per show for the American Family Children’s Hospital.

One Man — 28 Hours — $24,000
This is what happens when Mid-West Family’s Randy Hawke takes on a cause and the rest of the crew steps up and pitches in.
Randy broadcasted live for 28 hours straight and Radiothon for Vets raised $24,000 for local veterans’ charities. We have a few goals, besides seeing Randy sleep deprived. We want to ensure veterans are aware of the opportunities and services available to them in our area. We also want to let people know about the opportunities they have to help area veterans. We aim to raise funds to help organizations that serve our veterans.
Addiction and mental health awareness are close to Krista’s heart because they have affected her family. Her goal is to shine a light on these topics to rid the stigma connected with mental health issues.
Teaming up with Tellurian, Krista and everyone at JAMZ works to make life better for those who need help. This year Krista broadcasted live for 13 hours to raise awareness and money for people in the Madison area suffering from addiction.
Listeners came to the live broadcast and made donations in person while others donated online. Community sponsors also contributed funds.
Often times those with addictions don’t have the means for treatment. It is through donations that Tellurian can fulfill their mission of providing a safe and secure environment for those seeking help in making their recovery possible. Each year, they serve over 9,000 people needing treatment.
One Small Request for Warmth Launches a 30-Year Holiday Tradition
Holiday Wish started 30 years ago when a Madison-area woman called in to the Morning Show asking if they could help her get her hands on a winter jacket. She didn’t have the means to get one on her own and she hoped to keep warm for the winter. The team made some calls, got her the warm jacket she needed, and the first Holiday Wish was granted!
Magic 98 holds a fundraiser in early December and listeners request songs for a donation to Holiday Wish.
We combine those listener donations with contributions from a handful of generous, local sponsors, and routinely give $25,000 to local families. Only a few stories are shared on-air, but behind the scenes about 100 families get a letter telling them they were nominated and asking them to accept gifts from $50 to $500.
We are honored to be able to continue to do this every year for our incredible Magic 98 listeners and their families and friends.
All eight Mid-West Family Madison stations participate in this 39-hour Radiothon. For these three, 13-hour days, on-air staff broadcast live from the lobby of the
American Family Children’s Hospital to tell the inspiring stories of patients, families and staff. Be sure to keep your tissues handy!
Area businesses clamor to sponsor this event and have the opportunity to tell all our listeners about their experiences and why they chose to be a sponsor. Each year the amount donated increases—last year’s event raised over $700,000.
